Working in real estate for the past decade has provided me with first hand and more detailed insights on why people choose to live where they do. Often times, most people want to be close to things they love the most. Whether it’s restaurants, parks, things to do, family, or their place of work— most people want to be close to all the above.
During the pandemic, prices for homes and even rentals skyrocketed so we saw people having to settle. They had to rediscover places and more often than not, they had little idea of the some of the great places right in their neighborhood.
It brings me back to the saying, “if you don’t stop to look around, you’ll miss it”. That reminds me that a lot of people just go where it’s trending or what’s cool but lack to explore places right under their nose or next door!
I created Living Perks to help boost the way people explore locally and hopefully are able to find some new favorite places. I want our platform to bring a smile on people’s faces by simply helping you find the next best cup of coffee, a new space to work on your fitness, or even a new spot to hang with friends or family.
Every community has perks, we just help you find them a little easier.
